I have to say that since forgiving certain people recently that my life has seemingly changed for the better.
Now I’m racking my brain trying to make sure I have my plans for tomorrow in order and haven’t forgotten anything.
All I need now is a frozen Coke form Hungry Jacks and then I shall sleep peacefully.
I downloaded most of those last year :)
ok so i remember watching like little lulu when she ditches school and then.. she’s like singing and dancing on the moon with the stars?
then idk if its like the same episode but i remember her eating a hard boiled egg i think
in another episode shes like at a department store and it gets…
I watched alot of the Cartoon Classics as a child but only came across this episode within the last few years and I did shed tears.
Am I the only one who remembers this? or had this as a kid?
I had this VHS growing up. It was one of the first cartoons to make me cry
There was an episode where she gets a bebe gun and shes playing around shooting things… and ends up shooting a baby bird. at first she’s excited that she shot it, but then she watches as the baby bird’s mother comes back and frantically tries to wake up her baby. Audrey realizes what she has done, and thinks she killed the baby bird and runs inside her house and hides. Then, when night fell, many other birds gather around, and they start giving the baby bird a funeral… and Audrey is crying hysterically saying she didn’t mean to kill it and, what looks like, begging god for forgiveness. As rain started falling, the baby bird woke up. he was not dead, but knocked unconscious. Audrey sees this and happily runs outside. the birds all flee in fear of her. Audrey scatters birdseed to coax them back. when they remain fearfully hidden, Audrey takes out her bebe gun and smashes it to bits. but when the birds still remain hidden, she sadly walks away… Then the baby bird looks as if he feels bad for her and flies to her, nuzzling her cheek, and eats birdseed out of her hand. after that the other birds join in.
I remember it so vividly, because it was so dark. This scarred me as a kid, but I guess it was a lesson worth learning, that guns can kill, and anyone can die if you are careless. she didn’t mean to kill the bird (and luckily didn’t) because she was shooting objects before and none of them had a life to end, and she thought it would apply the same to this animal. But this episode also shows the baby bird forgiving her. she could have killed him, and yet when she destroyed the gun, he seemed to forgive her. I guess it went to show that it is sometimes hard to forgive- but sometimes when situations are bad, and I mean REALLY bad it is possible to forgive someone, especially when they learned the error of their ways and change for the better.
